Treasure Hunt York closed during FutureSound concerts

The Yorkshire Museum and York Museum Gardens will be closed from Monday 30th June to Monday 7th July 2025 for the preparation and duration of the FutureSound summer concerts.

This means our game Gardens and Guildhalls will be completely unavailable during this period as the game starts in Museum Gardens.

The closure includes both preparation time and the concert period itself, making it impossible to access the starting point of our most popular York treasure hunt.

We have an alternative game, Walk the Walls, which is not affected by this closure. Although designed as a follow-on from Gardens and Guildhalls, there’s no problem playing it first.

If you’ve already booked Gardens and Guildhalls for these dates, you can reschedule or cancel for free (as always). Just reply to your booking email and we’ll sort you out.
