Same people, different name.

When we started the business back in 2019 we had just one game, Treasure Hunt Liverpool. We called it exactly that, Treasure Hunt Liverpool, and we bought the domain treasurehuntliverpool.com.
As we started to add new cities, we followed the pattern: Treasure Hunt York, Treasure Hunt Manchester and so on. In each city we presented ourselves as “Treasure Hunt York”.
This worked well enough for many years. People looking for a treasure hunt in a city would find us. Google rewarded the specificity of our name in search results. And there weren’t many companies making treasure hunts, so it wasn’t hard to be found.
But over time, this approach began to hurt.
People would often ask us what we do, and I’d explain we make treasure hunts in cities across the UK. They’d invariably reply, “What’s it called?”. And I’d awkwardly reply, “Oh it’s Treasure Hunt Liverpool in Liverpool, Treasure Hunt Manchester in Manchester.”
We’d sometimes talk to people who’d played a treasure hunt in a city. We’d be dead curious if it was our game that they’d played. But it would take far too long to figure it out, quizzing them about the route, the clues, the landmarks they’d seen.
We’ve known for years that we’re missing a recognisable brand. Something that’s memorable. Something that’s easy to recommend to colleagues.
And so now, six and half years on, we’ve bitten the bullet.
At Lindle, we make treasure hunts, including Treasure Hunt York.
We’re Paul and Ian from Lindle, not Paul and Ian from Treasure Hunt York.
Our company is Lindle Ltd, renamed from Treasure Hunt Hunt Tours Ltd.
We’re (gradually, carefully) moving our websites to lindle.co.uk.
Rebranding (or perhaps just branding) touches lot of stuff: emails, websites, invoices, third-party platforms and more.
Careful as we are, we might break something or do something confusing. Sorry about that. We appreciate your patience and look forward to hearing from you again soon.

“We thought the clues were pitched at the correct level, not too easy and made you look very closely at your surroundings, without being impossible to solve.
We had a fun day exploring York with a few pit stops for refreshement between clues.”
